Coach Knight Fund Breaks the Quarter-Million Mark
Texas Tech Universtiy Libraries announced in February that its Coach Knight Library Fund has surpassed $250,000 in private giving. According to Jane Piercy, Libraries development officer, the recent growth in the fund is the result of hundreds of private gifts that began coming in during the fall months and the first of the year.

"We are so grateful for the ongoing support of Coach Knight's fans," said Piercy. "Thanks to Coach Knight's historical entry in the record books, I believe we are about to see a watershed of gifts to the Libraries because people want to be associated with this truly great coach at the height of his career."
