  • Texas Weather A website that has brought together dozens and dozens of weather and climate links for Texas. Real-time and historical information, radar and satellite images, maps, tornado information, links to NOAA weather for Texas cities--this website has an abundance of information.
  • Texas weather from Texas A&M.
  • National Weather Service Lubbock Area. Clickable map of current and future weather in Lubbock and the South Plains. Also has historical climate data as well as current river and waterway levels.
  • Southern Regional Climate Center Based out of Baton Rouge, this NOAA office covers six states including Texas and contains climatic information. Included are weather forecasts, animated maps, newsletter archives, an electronic climate atlas of the region, temperature and precipitation summaries, Gulf of Mexico storm tracking map and drought information.
  • Office of the State Climatologist This website contains online access to Texas Climatic Bulletins (from within two weeks to 1997), general climate information on Texas, and a data query database. This database lets you search for climatic data by individual stations and displays it in plot and/or table form.
  • National Climate Data Center U.S. Climate at a Glance. Click on Statewide, then on Texas. Temperature and precipitation information (monthly, seasonally and yearly) statewide from 1895 to today in graph, table or chart format.
  • Texas Department of Agriculture Crop and Weather Updates. Links to several weather sources pertaining to Texas.
  • Weather links from the Government Documents collection at TTU. As a regional depository, we have access to databases from the National Climate Data Center.
