• Earth Resources Observation Systems (EROS) Data Center
• GlobeXplorer. Free images of the US (but with a watermark across the image). Click on "image viewer". Plenty for sale as well.
• Illinois Historical Aerial Photographs. Online file access is currently available for 45 counties in Illinois.  Requires installation of plug-in to view photographs.
• Lunar Topographic Orthophotomap (LTO) Series. Free images provided by the Lunar and Planetary Institute. JPEG images in different screen resolutions are available for download.
• Microsoft Terraserver. These are the free USGS images available online from Microsoft.
• National Aerial Photography Program (NAPP) PhotoFinder.
• National Aerial Resources.
• NASA's Planetary Photojournal. Over 550 images of Earth. The rest of the planets are covered as well.
• Terraserver.com U.S. and foreign images for view and purchase.
• Tropical Rain Forest Information Center (Michigan State University).
• USGS Earthshots .

• Aerials Express. Views of major cities in the U.S.
• DigitalGlobe. Formed in 1993 as WorldView and later called Earthwatch, their products range from photographs to digital elevation models.
• Eastview Cartographic. Some images for viewing; most for sale.
• ImageNet. Requires free registration.
• Landsat 7. Data is available from the EROS Data Center of the U.S.G.S.
• ORBIMAGE. A newcomer in the satellite imagery industry.
• Space Imaging. Worldwide coverage. Owners of the IKONOS Satellite.
• Spaceshot. Satellite photos.
• SPOT Image Corporation. Since 1982, this French company has over 7.5 million images in their database.
