Print, Scan and Copy
The Texas Tech University Library participates in WEPA: Wireless Everywhere Print Anywhere. The Library offers many WEPA kiosks around the Library: 8 on the ground floor, 1 on the east side of the second floor (Digital Media Studio area), and 1 on the mezzanine. Additionally, the campus IT department maintains 3 in the West basement at the ATLC.
Printing costs 10 cents per page for black & white, and 50 centers per page for color. You can pay for your prints with your RaiderCard, WEPA Account, or a WEPA Print Card.
For additional information about WEPA at Texas Tech, please visit the IT Division WEPA@Tech page.
We have 5 Knowledge Imaging Center (KIC) scanning stations available for paperless research. At no cost, you can scan books, journals, photos, and documents in full color or black and white. Images can be saved in a variety of file formats and then stored on your USB drive or sent to an e-mail account. There are 4 scanners in the University Library on the ground floor near the public computers and 1 in the east basement near the microfilm collection. There are also 2 KIC scanners located in the Architecture Library.
You can find copiers in the University Library building on the ground floor in the alcove between the east and west elevators. Copying costs 10 cents per page (black & white only). Copiers accept cash or change and have a card-swipe for your RaiderCard.
