ScienceDirect
Simply start searching for keywords, much like in Google, or "Browse by subject" to Accounting journals (click on "Business, Management and Accounting"). Contains full text and bibliographic information for many topics in the fields of accounting and auditing. Author searches are done on the last name only. (Note: TTU Library does not subscribe to all of the journals in the SD collection.)
Lexis-Nexis (Accounting)
From the main Lexis-Nexis page, click on the "Business" tab. On the left-hand sidebar, click on "Accounting," then enter keywords and select sources.
Emerald Insight
Either use the "Quick search" to search for accounting-related keywords, or the "Quick browse" to find everything related to your subject. Click on "subject," then "Accounting and Finance" to browse nearly thirty finance/accounting electronic journals.

From the main Lexis-Nexis page, click on the "Business" tab. On the left-hand sidebar, click on "SEC Filings," then search for company names, ticker symbols, etc.
