Guides to the Subject

The papers written for philosophy are not usually the in-depth research papers written for other fields. However, there are times when you will want to consult books beyond the dictionaries and encyclopedias found in reference collections.  The library has a number of companions and guides to various topics in philosophy.  Among them are; Blackwell Companions, Blackwell Philosophy Guides, and Cambridge Companions.
