Alternative ways of measuring scholarly impact

The Library will host a hands-on workshop on Altmetrics from 10 a.m. to noon Thursday, March 27 in Library Instruction Lab 150.

Faculty, graduate students and administrators, this workshop will help you to:

become aware of how the behavior of scholars has changed in recent years

become familiar with emerging alternatives to traditional measures

monitor personal and institutional research impact in new ways

achieve a better understanding of how the scholarly landscape might change in the years ahead
