Due to technical changes involving the Texas Tech University and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center accounts to correct an IP range assignment, users who have created their profiles on ScienceDirect may lose their saved searches and alerts permanently.

This change will take place between December 25-29, 2006.  In the event you are unable to access your current profile, you may click register on ScienceDirect, and re-create your registration, alerts and saved searches.  ScienceDirect E-Customer Support wishes to notify you of this change so that you may temporarily record your information to re-enter if needed.  This information includes:

• Saved searches
• Saved alerts
• Any other personalization feature that might have been in your registered ScienceDirect profile
