Obtaining Journal, Magazine, and/or Newspaper Articles

TTU Libraries subscribes to a large number of print and electronic journals, magazines, and newspapers. Some materials are only available in one format (print, electronic, microfilm), while others may be available in multiple formats. Materials that are avialable electronically will obviosuly be easier and faster for you to obtain. Print and microfilm materials are also available and will be scanned and will be available to you via the Web (http://docdel.lib.ttu.edu/server_side/patron.htm ).  Articles not available through TTU Libraries can be obtained through our Document Delivery  service.

The process of locating an article may involve a number of steps depending on whether you already know of a specific article (title of the journal, magazine, and/or newspaper, title of the article, author, date, etc.) or whether you are researching a topic.

Locating a Specific Article

If you already know of a specific article, you will want to check our e-journal/magazine list first to determine of the article is available electronically. A link to the list of e-journals/magazines entitled "Journals/Magazines" is located on the navigation bar of the Unversity Library Homepage or click here. In the middle of the "Journals/Magazine" Webpage is an alphabet. Click on the letter of the alphabet that the name of the journal and/or magazine begins  with, omitting articles such as aan, and the.

Researching a Topic

Please see the TTU Libraries "Research a Topic" instructional page.
