Texas Tech University Libraries is a dynamic academic research library providing the latest technology-based services for tens of thousands of Texas Tech students, faculty and researchers. The University Library System, which includes the University Library and the Architecture Library, offers patrons, regardless of their physical location, a rich array of research opportunities by visiting http://library.ttu.edu/. The University Library, located adjacent to Texas Tech's newly renovated Student Union Building, is a hub of activity with more than 1 million visitors each year. Extensive collections include more than 2.5 million volumes, subscriptions to major periodicals, and several hundred specialized, online databases. As a founding member of the Texas Digital Library, the University Libraries partner with research libraries across the state, offering intellectual resources on the Internet, bringing the world, literally, to the patrons' fingertips.
