Guides and Help
The Architecture Library contains approximately 25,000 books and bound journals, over 100 videos, and over 5000 photographic slides. The library subscribes to over 50 magazines, journals, and newsletters. Most of the book collection is located on the 8th floor, but there are reference books located on the 9th floor, and some books are kept behind the circulation desk on reserve. Both current and bound issues of journals are found on the 9th floor.
These guides are intended to help you find materials for your research in the Architecture Library, the other Texas Tech University Libraries, and in libraries around the world. A separate guide discusses sources found in the reference area, and another offers advice for more in-depth research. Remember that Architecture Library staff are always available to help you with your research projects.
