Division of Blind Services

The state office of the Division of Blind Services within the Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services (DARS) is located on the Texas Tech University campus. In those instances in which the disability constitutes a substantial handicap to employment, several vocational rehabilitation programs are available to provide educational assistance for blind and visually impaired students.
