FACE 2009This year's Faculty Academic Contributions Exhibit’s (FACE) theme, A Toast to Your Achievements, is in celebration of Texas Tech's faculty as resources and their many accomplishments as researchers, professors and mentors.Founded on the idea that scholastic enterprise is among the most valued of all endeavors, this silver anniversary event will shine on faculty excellence, will flaunt our academic diversity and will encourage collaboration and dialogue across an array of disciplines. Texas Tech’s rich resource of faculty accomplishments is the reason that our university is gaining momentum within higher education. Some indicators, including yet another increase in funded research, point to the fact that Texas Tech is broadening its reach and advancing its reputation in the arts and sciences, engineering, architecture, agricultural sciences and natural resources, humanities, visual and performing arts and other disciplines. Last year's event marked the first inclusion of a hands-on, interactive component. This year we endeavor to have a larger multimedia presence for a more thorough, dynamic and engaging experience.
